The hostel is situated on the Giudecca Island overlooking Saint Mark Square.
Getting to the hostel could not be easier with the Vaporetto lines (4.1 4.2 and 2) throughout the day and night.
If you arrive by airplane:
BY BOAT - From Marco Polo main airport go to the little harbor (250 mt outside the terminal turn on your left) where you can find the public boat. “Alilaguna” (www.alilaguna.it) which arrives after 1h40min to Giudecca Island. Our stop is called Zitelle. The hostel is 100 mt on your right.
BY BUS - From Treviso Airport - RyanAir or other low-cost flight companies provide private shuttle for passengers who have to go to Venice Piazzale Roma - more details: ATVO
Catch the vaporetto #2 or #4.1 to Giudecca Island & get-off at Zitelle. Cost of boats tickets is euro 7,00 one person one way, but at the ticket offices you can buy 1 or 2 days pass.
BY BUS - Outside arrival terminal bus #5 or ATVO bus to Venice Piazzale Roma – then walk to the public boat standing & catch vaporetto #2 or #4.1 to Giudecca Island & get-off at Zitelle. Cost of boats tickets is euro 7,00 one person one way, but at the ticket offices you can buy 1 or 2 days pass.
TIP! It is always good to get a 24-48 hour pass as it allows you to travel all around the small islands in the laguna (eg Burano, Murano, Lido). Tickets can be bought ONLINE for some extra saving
If you arrive by train:
Get out the main train station Santa Lucia, you'll find the vaporetto stop right outside by the tickets offices, get on number #2 or #4.1 direction to Giudecca Island.. Boat line #2 stop and start from platform on your left whilst the boat # 4.1 on your right. Our stop is called Zitelle and the hostel is 100mt on your right.
TIP! If your age is between 6 and 29 you can buy online the VENICE CARD that will give you access to a number of various discount in the city
If you arrive by car:
We suggest to park at Tronchetto - it's a very big car parking. you'll see it driving through the long bridge which connect Venice to the mainland - once you arrive at the end of the bidge at the traffic light turn right & follow the signals (but if you prefer there are other 2 big car-parking in Piazzale Roma). The cost is around euro25,00 per day. If you park at Tronchetto, there is a little way to go to the public boats standing where you can catch vaporetto#2 and in 15 minute you'll get off at Palanca.
If you park in Piazzale Roma (main e terminal station for cars & buses) walk to the public boat standing & get on #2 or #4.1 to Giudecca Island in 20/15 minutes. The stop is Zitelle and the hostel is 100mt on your right.
