By car:
If you use a navigation system, please do not enter Schichtlstraße into the GPS, but take "Landshamer Straße" as address. Otherwise you'll get into a residential area with dead ends and one-way streets and you'll be in a bad mood. Nobody wants that.

With public transport:

From Central Station to the camp:
Take the S2 in the direction of Petershausen(Obb) and get off at the stop "Riem". Now you just have to walk over to us. Walk straight ahead past a baker and a hairdresser to the next crossing. Here you turn right into Mittbacher Straße. At the second crossing turn right again into Graf-Lehndorff-Straße. After about 50 meters turn left at the second crossing into Frobenstraße, which you simply follow. Soon you will see the camp. The whole footpath is about 900 meters long, so you can easily do it in 12 minutes.

From the airport to the camp:
At the airport take the S8 towards Herrsching. After about 25 minutes get off at the stop "München-Daglfing", walk around the corner to the other side of the station. The station is called "Daglfing Bahnhof Ost". Here you take the bus no. 183 in the direction of Messestadt West. Get off at the fourth stop "Rennbahnstraße". Walk in the same direction as the bus and after a few meters turn left onto Landshamer Straße. Now you just have to go straight ahead and after 700 meters you can already see the camp.

From the camp to the Oktoberfest:
You walk from the camp to the station "Riem". Take the S8 (every 20 minutes) to "München Ost". Change to the U5 in the direction of "Laimer Platz" and get off at Theresienwiese. Ta dah you are here!

Alternative:
You also take the S8, but first change at "Marienplatz" to the U6 in the direction of "Klinikum Großhadern" and then walk from "Goetheplatz" for a short walk to the Oktoberfest.
This route has the advantage that you are in the middle of the city at Marienplatz and can do some sightseeing or just go shopping.
